Working with Projects from a SVN repository in Eclipse
The performance you ought to perform for the class are:

Plugin installation
To perform the task shown here yous need to have the Subversive SVN Team Provider plugin.

Check out a project

From the File menu select Import, the wizard window appears:

The dialog requiring the information about the repository appears, insert the URL of the repository and provide a characterization.

The window reports the resources (files) that changed w.r.t. the reversion you checked out from the repository. They could have been: modified, added, or removed.

The projection is committed to the repository.
Update your project
If the project has been changed by someone else (e.g. the project with the lectures' examples had been inverse by the professor), it is required to update your local copy to the latest version nowadays on the repository (Caput).
To execute the update of your local copy:

Right click on your project, then select Team and and then Update to HEAD;
Team and Commit
